Night Court returns to downtown McKinney

McKINNEY, Texas -- Collin County’s Night Court continues on Tuesday, April 20, with an evening session in Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Paul Raleeh’s small claims court, beginning at 6 p.m.

The quarterly small claims proceedings are a way for folks to have their say in civil court without having to miss work.

Tuesday’s docket, which will be held at the McKinney Performing Arts Center (the old courthouse on the square in downtown McKinney) includes 13 pro se (no lawyers) small claims cases. No criminal cases are heard in the sessions. MPAC’s address is 111 N. Tennessee St., McKinney, Texas 75069.

These proceedings are open to the public, and spectators typically include the curious as well as those who have cases pending and want to observe the court in action.
