Collin County Health Care Services opens flu vaccinations to all persons above the age of six months

(McKinney, TX) – Collin County Health Care Services continues administering flu vaccinations and has expanded the vaccination availability to those age six months and older. This is based on recommendations by the Texas Department of State Health Services.

Flu vaccination clinics are held weekdays at the county health department, 825 N. McDonald Street in McKinney. The vaccinations are given from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. daily.

The cost for adult vaccine is $20. Cash, checks and Medicaid are accepted. The cost of the children’s vaccine is based on a sliding scale fee, but the amount will not exceed $14 per dose. Chip is accepted. The children’s vaccine is also available during regular clinic vaccination hours.
