Collin County to honor volunteers on Friday
(McKinney, TX) – Volunteers serving on nine Collin County committees and boards will be honored by the Commissioners Court during a luncheon on Friday, January 14th.
The annual Volunteer Appreciation Banquet is the one time each year that the dozens of persons serving the county are honored for their time and effort. This year, the Commissioners Court will recognize 13 persons for their contributions during 2004.
Collin County boards and committees include: The Adventure Camp Advisory Board, Child Protective Services Board, the Farm Museum Committee, the Health Care Foundation Advisory Board, the Historical Commission, the Mental Health Mental Retardation Board, the Parks Foundation Advisory Board, the Planning Board and the Youth Park Executive Board.
The luncheon will begin at 11:30 at Eldorado Country Club in McKinney.
