Collin County to celebrate National Probation, Parole and Community Supervision Week; CSCD celebrates 33 years of service

( McKinney , TX ) – In honor of National Probation , Parole and Community Supervision Week, the Collin County Community Supervision and Corrections Department (CSCD) will hold a reception tomorrow (Wednesday). The celebration will recognize the years of service to criminal justice by its 80-plus employees, as well as the leadership by CSCD Director Glen Johnstone for the past 30 years.

As part of the reception, Collin County District Attorney John Roach and District Judge Betty Caton will address the role community supervision officers play in safe-guarding the community.

The event begins at 2 p.m. in the central jury room of Annex B, adjacent to the Collin County Courthouse, 210 S. McDonald Street in McKinney .
