Newly Elected Collin County Officials to Take Office

(McKinney, TX) – Two ceremonies are scheduled here on January 2, 2007, for recently elected Collin County officials to formally begin serving their terms of office.

Fourteen (14) Collin County elected officials will take the oath of office at 9 a.m. in the Central Jury Room of the Collin County Courthouse, Annex B, 314 S. Chestnut Street. A reception will follow in the annex lobby. The elected officials are:

Keith Self, County Judge
Corinne Mason, Judge, County Court at Law No. 1
Jerry Lewis, Judge, County Court at Law No. 2

At 11 a.m., John R. Roach, Jr., will the oath of office as Judge of the 296th District Court in Annex B of the Collin County Courthouse, 314 S. Chestnut Street. A reception will follow in the courthouse lobby at 210 S. McDonald Street.
