Annual "Roundup on the Range"
Myers Park & Event Center
Saturday, October 18th 2008
Cowpokes
from all over the United States are gettin’ ready for
a family celebration of the food,
fun, music and lifestyles of the old west. Yippee-ki-yay,
Roundup on the Range is
headed back to Myers
Park and Event Center in McKinney.
Authentic chuckwagon cook-off teams,
featuring western chefs with genuine cooking tools, will whip
up a finger-lickin’ feast
of freshly cooked rib stickin’ grub. The
whistling sounds of cowboy tunes from the Quebe Sisters
Band and Ashley Austin and Southern Rule will be
sure to make you kick up your boots and test out the dance
floor. Barrels full of fun games, tummy
pleasin’ food, and pure western family fun will accompany
these first class acts. Be sure to scout the prairie
for all the western doings available at this event including
a Native American Pow Wow, some rodeo clown
face painting, pony rides, a celebrity shoot out, an
open mic talent hoedown for the lil’ buckaroos and much,
much more.
Slip
on your boots, lasso up the kids, load up the wagon and head
the horses out to Myers Park on
