The Collin County Courthouse on Bloomdale Road has exceeded all expectations in its first month, and to keep things running smoothly we have the following reminders:

All State District Courts, the District Clerk’s office, most of the District Attorney’s office, the Law Library, and the Grand Jury are now housed at the Bloomdale Road courthouse.

All County Courts and some of the District Attorney’s office that have been operating out of the University Drive courthouse are still housed at that facility.

The County Clerk’s office and Commissioners Court are still operating out of the McDonald Street courthouse facility.

The Bloomdale Road courthouse is located off U.S. Highway 75 north of Hwy 380. To get there from U.S. 75:

Northbound: Take the Wilmeth Rd. exit (#42) and continue on the northbound service road until you come to Bloomdale Rd. Turn left (west), go over the bridge and courthouse parking and the main entrance will be on your right.

Southbound: Take the Weston Rd. exit (#43) and continue south on the service road until you come to Bloomdale Rd. Turn right (west), and courthouse parking and the main entrance will be on your right.
