December Public Meetings Offer Updates on Regional Transportation
The Regional
Transportation Council of the North
Central Texas Council of Governments will hold a series of public
meetings to update residents in our area on current and future transportation
issues in this region.
The closest meeting for Collin County residents will
take place Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the Richardson
Civic Center, 411 W. Arapaho Rd., Richardson, Texas 75080. Two others
are scheduled in Duncanville on Dec. 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the Duncanville
Community Center; and, at the Euless
Public Library on Dec. 9 at 10 a.m.
Topics being discussed at these meetings in the
2009 Sustainable Development Call for Projects; an aviation update;
the 2008 Ozone Season Summary; and Transportation Improvement
Program (TIP) Modifications.
If you would like to submit comments on the meetings
or can't attend next week's sessions, the RTC has an online
form for suggestions and comments.
