The Collin County Farm Museum has a small collection of historic photographs depicting rural life before 1960. However, many historical aspects are missing which is why the Farm Museum seeks to include more historic photographs in its collection. |
Digital Historic Photograph Collection
The Farm Museum is also looking to increase its collection of historic photographs. For many, parting with family photographs is a unthinkable and we understand. This is why we are asking for permission to scan your historic photographs to add to our digital collection. Once completed the originals are returned to their owners.
Many of the photographs already in the collection feature farming activities and equipment. We want to continue collecting these images in addition to images of home life, such as interiors and exteriors of farm homes, as well as leisure games and activities.
If you are interested donating a historic photograph or allowing us to scan one, please contact Jennifer Rogers, Museum Coordinator at 972-548-5752. |
