Who is eligible

Anyone over the age of 18, that has not been convicted of a felony (or has been pardoned or has fully completed the sentence.)

Duties

Help get people registered to vote by providing registration applications, allowing the citizen to fill out the application, and bringing the completed applications back to our office within 5 days or sooner, depending on how close to an election it is.

Process

Stop by our office during drop-in hours for a brief training and fill out the oath and paperwork to become deputized. You will receive some voter registration applications and information to take with you. The whole process generally takes about 15 minutes. If you are unable to make it during drop-in hours, or if you have a group of people you would like to be deputized, please call us and we can make arrangements.
