Searching an Assume Name business may be conducted in person, online or by mail. We DO NOT accept telephone requests for business name searches. Business name searches can be conducted in person at the County Clerk's Office free of charge, at the time of filing.

Search by Mail

Searches by mail can be ordered by sending a written request to:

The request should include the name and address of the business. The search fee is $10 per name and includes a copy of the certificate.. A check or money order, payable to the County Clerk, must accompany the written request. The search fee is non-refundable. A "No Record Statement" will be issued if a record is not found.
